CodeSafe acquired by Deep Space
CodeSafe, founded by David Broadhurst, was born out of a serious near-miss on a construction site that exposed how poorly critical information reached frontline workers. In response, the team built a prototype software platform and mobile app designed to deliver safety information visually, clearly, and directly to those on site. Backed by early recognition from WorkSafe Victoria and validated through evaluation by RMIT University, the platform proved its ability to lift safety standards and improve productivity across construction projects.

In September 2024, Deep Space, a leading platform in construction intelligence, acquired CodeSafe to enhance safety and quality compliance solutions within the construction industry.
Through the acquisition of CodeSafe, Deep Space incorporated QIN into its platform and rebranded it as DS Site. This expansion brings trusted safety and compliance capabilities directly into the Deep Space ecosystem, giving builders a single connected system to manage both project delivery and on-site safety. DS Site continues the original mission of QIN by simplifying construction workflows while adding the benefits of being fully integrated with Deep Space’s end-to-end construction management tools.
